Once upon a time — well, not that long ago — a group of passionate tech enthusiasts came together with a shared vision: to build software that makes a real difference, and to build a company that treats people the way they deserve to be treated.

Who we are

DevNest is a software development company based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with presence in the USA and Sweden. We specialise in building software that matters: web applications, mobile products, technical infrastructure, and the engineering leadership that makes it all work.

We've been doing this since 2019, and we've worked with companies ranging from UK job boards to global fashion retailers to domain registry operators.

What we believe

We believe that the best software comes from teams that are genuinely invested in outcomes — not just delivering tickets. We believe in ownership, accountability, and the kind of craftsmanship that means you're proud of what you ship.

We believe that a good workplace makes better software. Happy, autonomous, respected engineers write better code than burned-out, micromanaged ones. This is not a hypothesis — it's something we've seen play out across every project we've worked on.
